Perhaps you or someone you know has benefited from services
provided by the Council on Aging for Southeastern Vermont
(COASEV). We may have arranged a home delivered meal or
transportation to a medical appointment. One of our staff
may have come to visit providing needed information and
assistance. Perhaps we were able to help you sort out options
when things were difficult for you or a loved one.
The Council on Aging for Southeastern Vermont spends much
more than the grants and government funds we receive to
provide services to eligible senior citizens in Windham
and Windsor Counties, endeavoring to help them remain in
their own homes and communities. The needs and costs are
increasing, though, while as you probably know, government
funds are dwindling.
Your financial contribution will make a difference.
Any commitment from you can help us continue to:
- Staff the Senior Help-Line
- Fund senior meals
- Provide case management and advocacy
- Send Senior Companions to do friendly visiting;
and
- The list goes on…
